H.C.C.P.A. MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES
NEWSLETTER: The association prints a bi-monthly newsletter that keeps the membership informed of H.C.C.P.A. activities as well as offering information and ideas on a variety of subjects pertaining to private home day-care.
WORKSHOPS: The organization offers evening workshops on many topics of interest to home child care providers. The group meets on the first Thursday of each month from September through June at the Halton Regional Building on Bronte Road.
FIRST AID/CPR AND INCOME TAX: Each network offers yearly First Aid/CPR and Income Tax workshops for the members.
SOCIAL EVENTS: The H.C.C.P.A. host's field trips and activities for the day care children and social events for the providers.
NEIGHBOURHOOD NETWORKS: The association currently has two networks, Oakville and Burlington. Each network hosts its own monthly meeting, produces their own newsletter and offers support and community based outings unique to their area.
REFERRALS: The association also provides a child care referral service that parents and members may access.
FREE WEB SITE POSTINGS: As a member, you are entitled to post your email address or web site as a link on the H.C.C.P.A. web site. This may include a small bibliography of your daycare and even some pictures.
